US corporate cash kings hoarding more than a trillion dollars
Raise your hand if you could use an extra $1.7 trillion. According to calculations by ratings agency Moody’s, companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and Cisco are holding that much overseas to avoid paying taxes that would be due on returning to the United States.
